CSR is characterized by the leakage of fluid under the retina that accumulates in the central macula. The most common treatment for Central Serous Retinopathy (CSR) is the use of anti-VEGF injections. However, laser therapy can be an effective treatment tool. There are 2 types of “laser” for CSR: A) Focal laser similar to that used for choroidal neovascular membrane (CNV); B) Photodynamic therapy (PDT).
