MRVC is now offering photobiomodulation (PBM) light therapy for dry AMD.
The first and only FDA-authorized treatment for dry AMD to improve and maintain vision for up to 2 years. PBM light therapy uses a unique mechanism of action works to restore cellular energy production and improve retinal cellular health.
• More than 60% of PBM-treated patients experienced ≥1-line vision improvement at about 2 years compared to baseline.
• 84% of PBM-treated patients maintained or improved vision at about 2 years compared to baseline.

Meet Dr. Mehran Ron Taban & Dr. Jordan Sugarman
Dr. Mehran Taban and Dr. Jordan Sugarman are board-certified ophthalmologists with a specialization in diseases of the retina, as well as ocular inflammatory conditions, diabetic retinopathy, and hypertensive retinopathy. Their extensive experience and credentials in ophthalmology and its treatments allow them to provide comprehensive care, from routine examinations to laser procedures and surgery.
